Writing Process (Step One- Rough Draft)

  When I skipped school for the first time I went with my mom to see a musical, not just any musical but to see The Phantom of the Oprea. It was one of the best days of my life. We sat high above in plush fancy seating and I could see everything. There was this magnificent chandelier above us and you could hear the low buzz of people speaking all around, the excitement was tangible in the room. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the lights to flicker to signal the start of the show. It was so magical I would pinch myself over and over again to make sure this was really real. The lights flicker and then went dim as the curtain raise up and the thunderous music begins. I was singing every song that come on as we went.  I was singing so much my mom told me that I needed to stop so others could hear the actors on the stage.
